Kevin McCarthy is originally from Minnesota, but has lived in Finland since 2011, which isn’t that weird because he does enjoy snow and lakes and not talking to strangers. He has an MA from the University of Helsinki in English philology, whatever that is. He teaches high school English language & literature and primarily writes short fiction, but is developing a couple longer, unwieldy projects.
